Ladies Thursday Club - Summer 2018

We normally meet at  7.30pm  in the church vestry of St Peter's Church, ladies pay £2 per meeting which includes refreshments and a raffle draw. 

We restart on Thursday 13th September. All ladies are welcome to join us.

Cockett Mother`s Union

Meetings are held on the first Thursday of every month at  2.30pm. They are held in the vestry hall at St Peter`s church, visitors and new members can be guaranteed a warm welcome. We restart on Thursday 6 September at 2.30pm in St Peter's with a Holy Eucharist.


St Illtyd's Ladies Guild

 We meet every Wednesday afternoon in St Illtyd's church hall at 2.30pm. Our first meeting back is 12 September. Please come along and join us we are a friendly group and usually have a speaker. We always have a chat and a warming cup of coffee or tea.

Keys Club Meeting - (Men’s Group)

The Key’s Club, which was formed in 1962, is the Men’s Society of the Parish of Cockett who meet at on the second Monday of each month between September and June at the Sketty Club, Eversley Road, Sketty.

Club Officers: President: Revd Dr Jonathon Wright, Chairman: Colin Hammacott, Vice Chairman: Steve Davies, Secretary: John Burgum, Assistant Secretary: Mike Evans, Treasurer: Ian Miles.

Committee: Les Boor, Roy Harris, John Wilkinson, Ricky Weerackoon.

3 September: Holy Eucharist at St Peter's Church, Cockett, conducted by our new president, Revd Dr Jonathon Wright and followed by fish and chip supper at the Sketty Club.

8 October: "Transported to Australia" - The Life Story of Joseph Davies with Colin Lewis.

12 November: "The Chapel down the Swansea Coalmine" - an illustrated talk with Paul Richards.

10 December: Annual Dinner at the Sketty Club.
