What is Alpha, then?

Alpha is for everyone and is based around a meal and includes a video presentation and short discussion. It lasts for 10 weeks and covers such subjects as 'Who is Jesus?' 'Why did Jesus die?' 'How Should I Pray' 'What About the Church?' 'Who is the Holy Spirit?' ' Does God Heal Today?' How Can I Make The Most Of The Rest Of My Life?'

 The Alpha Course is relaxed, non-threatening, low key, friendly and fun and at Alpha no question is too simple or too hostile.

What is an Alpha Course?
It is an opportunity to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, non-threatening, low key, friendly and fun way. Each session starts with a communal meal, enabling participants to get to know each other. Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too hostile. Listen, learn, discuss and discover. Ask anything. The course consists of a series of talks looking at topics such as "Who is Jesus?" and "Why and How Do I Pray?" After each talk you divide into small groups for discussion.

Who is Alpha For?
Alpha is for people wanting to investigate Christianity, new
Christians, and those who have lost faith. In summary, Alpha is for anybody!

How much does it cost?
There is no charge for the course or the associated meals.
